Ashley Cole was born in Dallas, Texas. In high school, she fell in love with photography in the school's darkroom. Though forbidden, Ashley would reach her hands into the chemicals to move the print, seeing the image slowly grow before her.
Ever since, she has been passionate about taking photos that also break through the surface to find the truth and beauty beneath. She is especially drawn to, and in awe of, the amazing musicians around our state, truly capturing their raw, impressive talent in the moment.
A graduate of the Hallmark Institute of Photography, her work has been donated to Doctors without Borders, she has photographed numerous bands around Austin and, at the other end of the spectrum, she enjoys the detail-oriented work of a commercial shoot! She lives in Austin, TX, with her boyfriend Justin and dog, Penny Lane, a mixed mutt, or as Ashley says, "a real shaken-up Coke!"
